Bonnie Gross is an executive speaking and language specialist who uses both the

science and mindset of speech to help top-tier leaders become the most memorable

and persuasive people in the room.

Providing high-impact training, executive makeovers, and keynote addresses, Bonnie is

the Founder and President of SpeechScience International, working with Fortune 500

leaders to unlock their ability to persuade with the passion to move people to action.

Through SpeechScience, Bonnie delivers keynotes and training in speaking mastery to

individuals, teams, and leaders worldwide, from the United Nations and American

Express to IBM, TD Bank, Scotiabank, Cisco, and more. Bonnie’s programs challenge

leaders’ fears, worries, and long-held beliefs about public speaking to transform how

they deliver their message to the world.

Bonnie’s professional work as a celebrated speech-language pathologist focusing on

accent, articulation, and voice – the technical and science-based elements of speech –

unites with her broadcasting expertise in television and radio to deliver a unique, value-

driven audience and client experience to leaders and corporations looking to elevate

their speaking to reach new heights of success. For her work in speech and language

pathology, Bonnie has received accolades from the Ontario Association of Speech-

Language Pathology and Audiology for outstanding contributions to the profession and

awards and distinctions from local community publications in Toronto and New York.

She continues to create and lecture for the Professional Speaking Skills course at the

Ivey Business School MBA at the University of Western Ontario, a position she has held

since 1993.

Bonnie connects deeply with her clients and audiences, empathizing with the feelings of

shyness she experienced as a young child. In Bonnie’s case, a course in radio drama

changed the trajectory of her life as she gained the confidence, knowledge, and

expertise to help others learn how to speak their mind.

She has incorporated her knowledge and experience as an SLP into interviewing and

appearing on radio and television as a host, producer, and interviewer. She wrote,

hosted, and produced award-winning TV series, including Ethnicity, Second Chance,

and Giving Voice.

SpeechScience’s self-directed course, Fearless Public Speaking, provides a multi-level

framework for leaders to gain speaking confidence through defining, creating, and

delivering a powerful message.
