May 18th & May 19th (10AM-2PM)
So many of us “ fear” presenting in front of a group.
This course will teach you the skills and provide you with the personal feedback you need, to capture and hold the attention of your listeners – whether it is at a meeting, a presentation. You will learn to speak confidently and persuasively, without fear.
Each participant will learn and practice how to use your voice, tone, and pacing to sound confident and impressive. You will also receive instructor feedback and make continuous improvement throughout the course.
There will be time for Q and A throughout to ensure your improvement.
Each participant will receive a video of their presentation with all the improved skills.
May 26th & 27th
If you are a woman in a traditionally man’s role– or in any role – this course is for you!
Women develop different speaking habits than men– and this course will ensure that you use your strongest communication skills, and eliminate your bad habits.
We will discuss the differences between the ways men and women communicate, as well as some pitfalls that women may have a tendency to fall into without intending to.
Now here is the important point . As women we do not want to act or sound like men – but we do want to sound and act confidently and persuasively at all times. You will learn to identify and get rid of negative habits such as “um” and “uptone”, and the skills to use to speak confidently at meetings, presentations and networking events.
October 18th to 22nd (11AM-2PM)
You will learn and practice the most important skills of pronunciation, fluency and intonation, so that you can speak English clearly and confidently. The goal of this program is not necessarily to lose your accent – you can be proud of your accent- it shows that you are bilingual – or trilingual!
The goal of this program is to help you speak English so that people understand you the first time you speak, and can appreciate the full value of your ideas.
The methods we use are based on the science of Speech Pathology.
Each participant will receive excellent take home practice materials for continuous practice and improvement.
